Letter #5763

Alfonso de VALDÉS to Ioannes DANTISCUS
Zaragoza, [1529]-04-18

English register:

Valdés is happy that Dantiscus is on his way here safe and sound. The emperor is so adamant about the journey to Italy that if there were no ships, he would swim across. More about that tomorrow because there’s no time now. The emperor is due to leave [Zaragoza] tomorrow and the chancellery leaves on Wednesday. The chancellor [Mercurino Gattinara] is much better.

            received [Utebo?], [1529]-04-19
