Litterae ex Spectabilis ac magnifice domine etc. Post novissimas litteras meas, quas Magnificentiae Vestrae per eiusdem famulum dedi, nihil innovatum est, praeterquam quod caesarea maiestas munitissimam Galliae civitatem sancti Desiderii die 17 Augusti intercepit, in qua reperta sunt 40 tormenta rotis imposita, quibus includuntur 4 tormenta demoliendis muris idonea. Item mille sacci siligine et 800 hordeo repleti, pulveris autem minimum. Ex civitate dimissi sunt militum praesidiariorum 346 ordines in quemlibet ordinem seu, ut illi vocant, in quodlibet membrum computando milites septem, facit in summa militum praesidiariorum 2422. Quo quidem in numero comprehenduntur centum cataphracti, qui omnes spatio 4 miliarium a civitate securitatis causa deducti sunt. Porro eadem civitas facili negotio fieri potest expugna paper damaged⌈[a]a paper damaged⌉bilis, posthac feria quarta caesarea maiestas Salonam obsidione cinxit.
