Reverendissime in Christo Pater et Domine, domine observandissime.

Salutem et perofficiosam mei meorumque servitiorum commendationem.

Quod Reverendissima Dominatio Vestra humanissimis litteris suis me salutare non neglexit, facile ex eo intelligo apud illam haerere adhuc aliquam veteris sui servitoris memoriam. Quo nomine magnam Dominationi Vestrae Reverendissimae ago gratiam inque vicem illius praesentem valetudinem viso cum apprecatione optimae cuiusque fortunae, quam ipsa Reverendissima Dominatio vestra sibi optat favetque.

Ista vero Reverendissimae Dominationis Vestrae excusatio, qua de eo, quod tardius me inviserit, utitur, etsi quod ad me quidem attinet, fuit minime necessaria, accidit tamen mihi gratissima, quod et officii humanitatisque plena sit, et a penitiore quadam eius in me gratia profecta esse videatur.

Omnino autem moleste fero et talem hanc Reverendissimae Dominationi Vestrae eiusque capitulo ab ipsius canonico exhiberi molestiam et ea me non levari etiam valetudine, qua circiter sesquimensem iam distineor, propter quam in hac illius causa adesse domino Mikołaj Płotowski (†after 1548-07-27), royal courtier and owner of estates in Vistula Lowlands (Żuławy Wiślane); burgrave of Seeburg (Zybork, today Jeziorany) (AT 18, p. 229)Nicolao PlothowskiMikołaj Płotowski (†after 1548-07-27), royal courtier and owner of estates in Vistula Lowlands (Żuławy Wiślane); burgrave of Seeburg (Zybork, today Jeziorany) (AT 18, p. 229) non valeam. Quod sane facerem libenter, si aut per illam licuisset, aut ille me tamen vir voluisset, quod propterea fortasse non fecit, quia aut antea, quam ego litteras Reverendissimae Dominationis Vestrae receperim, totam rem confecisset, aut, quod in senatu esse non solerem, u written over ...... illegible...... illegibleuu written over ...sui me sibi in ea re fore non est arbitratus.

Quae mea erga Reverendissimam Dominationem Vestram est vetus et perpetua observantia, haud certe temere commiserim, ut ullo in officii BCz, 1599, p. 1030 genere, quod ego Reverendissimae Dominationi Vestrae praestare possem, meum stu hidden by binding[u]u hidden by bindingdium desiderari ab illa debeat.
