Regest polski:

Korzystając z pośrednictwa swojego przyjaciela, kasztelana gdańskiego Achacego Cemy, Dantyszek pragnie przypomnieć adresatowi o sobie i zapewnić o swej wciąż rosnącej życzliwości. Na polecenie senatorów pruskich Cema zreferuje adresatowi ustalenia, podjęte w czasie ostatniego sejmu pruskiego w Malborku.

Dantyszek prosi, by adresat, dla dobra Prus Królewskich i całego Królestwa, wziął sobie do serca to, co powie Cema, a także, by pod nieobecność swojego syna, starosty generalnego wielkopolskiego [Andrzeja Górki], za pośrednictwem jego zastępców (praefectos) dopilnował, by w najbliższym czasie z obecnego zła nie wynikło coś groźniejszego.

Dantyszek wyraża przekonanie, że adresat wie o królewskiej proskrypcji nałożonej na [Aleksandra Scultetiego] i o tym, w jaki sposób nagabuje on gdański magistrat. O szczegółach tej sprawy poinformuje adresata Cema. Mówi się, że bezpieczne schronienie, a nawet wsparcie dla praktykowanych przez siebie nikczemności [Sculteti] znajduje w Królestwie, a zwłaszcza w Wielkopolsce, co jest oczywistą ujmą dla godności władcy i senatu Królestwa. Raz jeszcze, wraz z Radą Gdańska, prosi Dantyszek, by adresat przeszkodził rodzącemu się złu.

W postscriptum Dantyszek, w reakcji na nowiny o niepomyślnym obrocie spraw na Węgrzech, krytykuje decyzje królowej Bony, przytaczając krążącą po Polsce ironiczną parafrazę wersetu z biblijnej księgi Hioba: „Skoro przyjęliśmy Bonę, czemu nie mielibyśmy przyjąć nieszczęścia”. Prosi o informację w liście lub przez Achacego Cemę, gdyby przebywający na Węgrzech syn adresata przysłał jakieś wieści. Prosi też o zniszczenie postscriptum.
