Dantyszek dziękuje adresatowi za spełnienie jego wyrażanej w listach wielokrotnie prośby i wystawienie pod pieczęcią dokumentu dla kasztelana elbląskiego i starosty gniewskiego Johanna von Baysen (Jana Bażyńskiego), przedłużającego jego posiadanie starostwa gniewskiego do dnia Zesłania Ducha Świętego [20 maja 1548].

Dantyszek uzasadnia swoje wstawiennictwo zasługami przodków kasztelana elbląskiego, w tym jego ojca Jerzego Bażyńskiego [Georga von Baysen], oddanymi królowi, jego poprzednikom oraz Królestwu Polskiemu na rzecz utrzymania Prus Królewskich przy Królestwie.

Ze względu na te zasługi prosi, aby król – zgodnie z prośbami radców Prus Królewskich, które przedstawią władcy posłowie [Tiedemann Giese, Johann von Baysen, Johann von Werden, Achatius von Zehmen (Achacy Cema), Fabian von Zehmen (Cema)] – pozwolił zatrzymać kasztelanowi elbląskiemu starostwo, wcześniej posiadane przez jego ojca aż do śmierci. Będzie to mile widziane przez poddanych w Prusach Królewskich i zgodne z tamtejszymi przywilejami. Zapewnia, że wraz z obdarowanym będzie wiernie służył królowi.
