Dantiscus thanks for the letter with news dated 17 June. He promises to repay the kindness shown to him since his youth.
Dantiscus has been informed by letter that England is at odds with Scotland because the Scots have refused to hand over English refugees to the tyrant king [Henry VIII Tudor]. However, freedom of navigation remains in place for now.
