Reverendissimo in Christo patri et domino, domino Ioanni Dei gratia episcopo Culmensi, fratri carissimo et amico plurimum honorando

Reverendissime et praestantissime mi domine.

Commisi cancellario meo, qui et mea erit prolixa epistula, Reverendissimae Dominationi Vestrae nonnulla referenda, cui fidem pro hac vice indubiam adhibeat gratoque animo audiat atque expediat cupio. Ceterum quo felix et faustus auspicetur iter suum feliciusque in eo sese habeat domumque redeat „extensis ad sidera palmis” Deum precor meque eidem diligentissime commendando.

Reverendissimae Dominationis Vestrae totus bonus frater Mauritius episcopus Varmiensis
