Reverendissimo in Christo Patri et Domino, domino Ioanni Dei gratia episcopo Varmiensi etc., domino gratiosissimo

Reverendissime in Christo Pater et Domine, domine gratiosissime et observande.

Praemissa commendatione servitiorum meorum [in Paternita]tis Vestrae Reverendissimae gratiam.

Cum venissem Mariemb[urgum, u]t primum nuntius obtigit, nolui com[mitte]re, quin pro mea vetere in illam observantia aliquid litterarum Paternitati Vestrae Reverendissimae per eum mitterem. Quibus sanitatem illius officiose viso, optans illi ex animo vitam longam, dominationem diutinam omniaque reliqua fausta.

Quantum vero attinet gratiam illius in me ac animi propensionem, libenter videre vellem, ut ferventior sit, nam mir[ar]i non sufficio, cur post tot epistulas ad illam, tum in meis negotiis quibusdam, tum ob testimonium mei in illam animi et observantiae, datas numquam quicquam responsi acceperim. Non possum tamen mihi persuadere affectum illius in me, quem ego permultis argumentis sum expertus, penitus ex animo illam eiecisse silentiumque illius hoc non negligentiae, sed occupationibus illius permultis acceptum refero.

Novarum rerum, quibus integra fides esset habenda, nihil nunc habens, in gratiam illius me studiose commendo, superstitem diu esse cupiens.
