Letter #5779
Alfonso de VALDÉS to Ioannes DANTISCUS[Augsburg?], [1530-10 — 1530-11-22?]
English register:
Valdés forgot to inform Dantiscus sooner that he had been invited to dinner at Scipio’s [di Somma’s?] yesterday and today. He went unwillingly but was afraid to offend Scipio with a refusal. He will do what he can as regards the Canonitildum. Valdés doesn’t know what Lewicki(?, cf. footnote No. 3) can expect, he suspects the emperor has forgotten about his matter. Valdés encloses the decrees Dantiscus requested.
