Viduus sum et vitam vivo tametsi non miseram (quae homini Christiano contingere non potest), attamen insuavem et minime gratam inter octo liberos, quos mihi Dominus custodiat. Quando pestilentia urbs haec aliquantulum affligitur, nescio, si opus fuerit, quo divertam. Ablata est mihi ab oculis, non corde, wife of Hieronymus AURIMONTANUS coniunxwife of Hieronymus AURIMONTANUS , pia illa philosophia, domitrix et moderatrix affectuum, quam propter egregias eius virtutes non solum amam, sed etiam plurimum dilexi, quae obambulabat curiosa et sedula mater familias. cf. Habeo itaque Tuae Reverendissimae Paternitati gratiam, quod multa loci intercapedine absens, corde tamen adhuc praesens sum, quod ego meis officiis, si umquam sors ita feret, libenter promerebor.
