English register:

[The content of the letter is unclear due to extensive gaps in the text resulting from damage to the paper.]

Dantiscus forwards to the addressee a letter from the provost [Paweł Płotowski]. The text mentions a Doctor [Stanisław Hozjusz?], an adversary (adversarius) [Alexander Sculteti?], and the royal court.

Dantiscus reports that he has received from his nephew [Kaspar Hannau] a letter from Rome dated 10 April, containing news that inspires hope. His nephew has not received the letter he sent in February.
