Reverendissime in Christo Pater et Domine, domine gratiosissime et honorande.

Commendatis servitiis meis in Paternitatis Vestrae Reverendissimae gratiam.

Redditae mihi sunt hodie a Paternitate Vestra Reverendissima litterae, quibus a me postulat, ut velim gratificari magistratui civitatis Elbingensis in controversia et lite, quae illis cum quadam vidua cive Mariemburgensi intercessit. Velim, ut Paternitati Vestrae Reverendissimae perspicuum sit me id sine ulla etiam intercessione libenter praestare velle eiusque meae voluntatis specimen certum ostendisse per hoc, cum decreverim, ut magistratus ille cum ea vidua iure agat coram iudicio competenti et, quidquid iudicium illud finaliter inter partes definiverit, ut inviolabiliter ab utraque parte observetur.

Ceterum, quia praefata vidua, nondum competenti iure evicta, fuit de domo, de qua lis est, violenter per illum magistratum eiecta, eodem decreto meo cavi, ut mox in possessionem restituatur et, cumprimum possessione gaudere coeperit, in iudicium competens vocetur. Istius ego decreti mei, eo quod non praecipitanter et consulto factum sit, mutator esse nollem, tum quod indecorum sit, tum quod illicitum. Id quod boni et aequi consulturam Paternitatem Vestram Reverendissimam pro illius in me gratia confido.

In cuius gratiam me magno studio commendo. Quam diu esse faus[tam] et superstitem cupiens.
