Radcom postępowanie gdańszczan nie spodobało się tak samo jak Dantyszkowi. Podczas obrad wyrazili wobec nich stanowcze niezadowolenie. Przedstawiciele Gdańska przypisali odpowiedzialność za zaniedbanie jednemu ze swoich kolegów oraz zapewnili, że przesyłka została już nadana.

Rodacy Dantyszka zwrócili się do niego z prośbą, aby usprawiedliwił ich postępowanie wobec adresata listu oraz ochmistrza dworu [Piotra Zborowskiego]. Prosi zatem, by z powodu tej sprawy adresat nie żywił urazy ani wobec nich, ani wobec radców Prus Królewskich. Zapewnia o swoim niezmiennym przywiązaniu.
