Reverendissimo in Christo patri, domino Ioanni episcopo Culmensi etc. domino maiori honorando, et amico semper observandissimo

Reverendissime domine maior honorande et semper observandissime.

Hoc messis tempore nolui Paternitatem Vestram Reverendissimam occupare diebus aliis, sed ita prout postulat die Solis ad prandium veniam et utinam illam inveniam cum omnibus suis optime sanam et voti compotem.

Ex Bratian, Sabbato, die Sanctae Annae 1533.

Postscript:

Iam sacra maiestas regia intravit Vilnam et dicitur insperata milia multa habuit in obvium. Utinam haec turbida nebula pariat mitem imbrem vel tranquillam auram. Illustris dominus comes Tarnoviensis fautor meus colendissimus motus precibus principum et amore patriae velocissime transivit Podoliam, ubi 4000 equitum {milia} et 500 peditum conscripsit. Sed quidem inter tantos, si potentiae Tartarum cum Walachis coniunctis viribus invadent dominia regni etc. Haec et alia tutius coram Paternitate Vestra Reverendissima. Et iterum semper feliciter vivat pro meo singulari desiderio.
