Ioannes DANTISCUS to Ermland (Warmia) Chapter
Allenstein (Olsztyn), 1541-01-24

English register: While visiting his estates, Dantiscus called on the administrator in Allenstein (Olsztyn) [Achatius Trenck] to offer comfort during his leg illness. He was hospitably received and expresses thanks to the chapter for this. He gladly promises to reciprocate the canons’ hospitality in the bishop’s estates. He especially encourages them to visit him as often as possible at his own properties.
