Letter #4830
Ioannes DANTISCUS to Ermland (Warmia) ChapterHeilsberg (Lidzbark), 1541-06-29
English register:
Dantiscus does not hold it against the canons that they opened the letter from the duke [Albrecht von Hohenzollern] addressed to him and the chapter. He admits that he had previously forgotten what he replied regarding road-related problems; they will learn of it from the enclosure. If the chapter considers the reply sufficient, he will not pursue the matter further.
