Qui cupis historiam regalis noscere pompae,
Tempore conubii quae celebrata fuit,
Haec lege, quae Decius, res est ut gesta, notavit:
Singula conspicies ordine facta suo!

Si te delectant figmenta antiqua, iuvabunt,
Dum bene perpendes, haec nova vera magis,
Scripta stilo facili placeant ex tempore. Mustum
