Valeriana sub hoc requiescunt ossa sepulcro,
Est animus campos raptus ad Elysios.
Carus erat, facilis, doctus nec noxius ulli,
Spes patriae, domui gloria Dreviciae.
Prima genas iuveni teneras lanugo rigebat,
Dum dedit hunc saevae febris acerba neci.
Nemo iuventutis confidat viribus ergo,
Sic recipit iuvenes mors ut in orbe senes.
