Regest polski: Valdes przesyła Dantyszkowi petycję, przedstawioną dzień wcześniej cesarzowi przez Lewickiego. Prosi o odesłanie jej po przeczytaniu. Obiecuje usprawiedliwić Dantyszka wobec wszystkich, nic się bowiem złego nie stało prócz tego, że poczciwy Lewicki chciał czegoś dokonać przed swoim odjazdem. Valdes będzie się starał mu pomóc w sprawie Monteserico, ale postrzega to jako mało realne. Jego zdaniem Lewicki równie mało zdziała w sprawie kanonikatu.
