This part includes correspondence between Dantiscus and those of his friends whose contacts with him as documented by their letters are of major importance for study on European humanism. There might be also Volume 4 that would comprise correspondence between Ioannes Dantiscus and a few humanists of different nationalities, if such a solution proves advisable once a complete inventory of letters is prepared.

This part will include volumes devoted to selected issues that can be dealt with on the basis of Ioannes Dantiscus’ correspondence. The core of each volume will be a selection of letters or their excerpts accompanied by the editor’s extensive introduction outlining the problem presented in the given volume.

This part includes materials presented and discussed during sessions which accompany presentations of the successive volumes of Corpus Epistularum Ioannis Dantisci to the International Board of the research program Registration and Publication of the Correspondence of Ioannes Dantiscus (1485-1548). The discussions concern the various aspects of the Respublica Litteraria in the 16th century, the source materials recording the phenomenon, its territorial extent and its role in the development of European culture.
