Letter #3018

Martinus KYSZEWETER & Observants convent in Löbau to Ioannes DANTISCUS
Löbau (Lubawa), 1546-12-01

English register: Martinus Kyszeweter and the Observants from Löbau extend thanks for the letter and generous alms. They promise to repay the kindness by celebrating, in accordance with Dantiscus’ wishes, a thirty-day service for the dead. Afterwards as well, they will always remember him in their prayers. Stephanus Tobie, the writer of the letter, sends Dantiscus special greetings.

Reverendissimo in Christo Patri, Domino, domino Ioanni episcopo Varmiensi, patri nostro gratioso atque faventissimo omni, qua decet, observatione

In manum

BCz, 1599, p. 757

Post imprecationem longaevae salutis humillimam subiectionem.

Reverendissime in Christo Pater.
