[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to Gregorius, organist at Vilnius Cathedral

English register:

Dantiscus is sending Vitus, who will deliver this letter, to the court of the young king [Sigismund II Augustus]. He has entrusted him with the task of bringing from there a dwarf acquired by Dantiscus. He asks the addressee to assist Vitus in preparing a small cart suitable for the dwarf.

Furthermore, he asks the addressee to keep him informed of developments at court.
