In response to the addressee’s request, Dantiscus has directed letters to the King [Sigismund I Jagiellon] and the Vice-Chancellor [Samuel Maciejowski]. He encloses copies thereof. He declares further benevolence.

Salutem.

Quemadmodum, cum nuper ageretis nobiscum, rogastis, litteras ad serenissimam maiestatem regiam et ad reverendum dominum decanum Cracoviensem et regni vicecancellarium scribi iussimus, quarum adiunximus exempla. Quodsi vobis profuerint, erit nobis gratum.

Si qua alia in re gratificari vobis volueritis, pro nostra benevolentia non deficiet vos propensio nostra.
