In response to the addressee’s request, Dantiscus has directed letters to the King [Sigismund I Jagiellon] and the Vice-Chancellor [Samuel Maciejowski]. He encloses copies thereof. He declares further benevolence.

Quemadmodum, cum nuper ageretis nobiscum, rogastis, litteras ad serenissimam maiestatem regiam et ad reverendum dominum decanum Cracoviensem et regni vicecancellarium scribi iussimus, quarum adiunximus exempla. Quodsi vobis profuerint, erit nobis gratum.
Si qua alia in re gratificari vobis per nos volueritis, pro nostra in vos benevolentia non deficiet vos propensio superinscribed in place of crossed-out benevolentia⌈benevolentia propensio propensio superinscribed in place of crossed-out benevolentia⌉ nostra.
