Honeste Fidelis dilecte.

Commendamus diligentiam tuam, quae nobis etiam grata est, quam in dando bonis litteris et studiis operam impendis. Ob idque te hortamur, ne ab eo honesto tuo proposito desistas, sed hoc tanto diligentius prosequaris, quantum te in eo a nobis commendari intelligis, utque hoc efficias, cura, quo tibi et nobis istis tuis studiis tandem utilis esse queas, futurum enim est, ut propediem huc vocaberis atque nobis inservies, ubi de diligentia tua et profectu in bonis litteris facturi sumus periculum. Interim tamen munificentiam nostram, qua te nunc prosequimur, boni consule, et eam gratam habe, posthac uberiorem a nobis exspectaturus.
