[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to [Hieronymus VIETOR]
Heilsberg (Lidzbark Warmiński), 1539, end of July

English register:

In reply to Vietor’s letter on settling accounts for the printed publication of the poem (Paraenesis), Dantiscus declares he has entrusted the matter to Georg Hegel. Hegel will buy 200 copies from Vietor at the usual price with a surplus of up to 20 florins, which includes the amount due for the parchment copy.

Dantiscus will also send Vietor the linen for a robe that he asked for.
