English register: Dantiscus learned from Dietrich von Rheden’s letter of Sobocki’s zeal on the matter of the Warmia coadjutorship. He thanks Sobocki for his efforts and hopes he can repay him.

Generose Domine, amice carissime. Salutem et felicitatem.

Scripsit mihi procurator meus ex urbe venerabilis dominus Theodericus de Rheden studium et operam Dominationis Vestrae, quam Romae in expeditione coadiutoriae meae Dominatio Vestra impendit, quod ex singulari sua virtute et humanitate Dominatio Vestra fecerit, rebusque meis, qui nihil de Dominatione ms. D(ominacio)me(!) DominationeDominatione ms. D(ominacio)me(!) Vestra sum benemeritus, faverit. Plurimum me Dominationi Vestrae debere fateor, cui ob eam in me benevolentiam multas habeo gratias, aliquando etiam, ubi sic res tulerit, relaturus Dominationi Vestrae. Quam felicissime valere cupio.
