Letter #2188

Ioannes DANTISCUS to Tiedemann GIESE
Heilsberg (Lidzbark Warmiński), 1539-07-11

English register:

Dantiscus promises Giese his help and advice on the matters he learned about from his letters and from Baltazar [of Lublin].

In Dantiscus’ view, the use of force by the prefect of Friedeck (Wąbrzeźno) [Barthel Kraft], about whose [passivity] Giese is actually right to complain, could cause significant unrest.
