Letter #2458

[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to Cornelis [DE SCHEPPER]
Heilsberg (Lidzbark Warmiński), 1541-07-15

English register:

Dantiscus has received De Schepper's letter from Binche dated 12 April. He was glad to receive good news from his friend. He is sending him three barrels of Gdańsk beer and promises to do this every year. Because the package dispatched on 10 January with Dantiscus' reply to De Schepper's letter of 18 August from Vienna has been lost, he informs him that he sent copies of that reply twice more to Regensburg, on 4 April from Heilsberg and on 26 May from Braunsberg.
