Reverendissime in Christo Pater ac Domine, domine Colendissime. Praemissa paratissima obsequiorum meorum oblatione.

Hic Lieven Algoet (Livinus Panagathus, Livinus Omnibonus, Levinus Goethals) (†1547), Dutch humanist, poet and cartographer, author of an account of the Augsburg Diet (1530), in 1519 entered the service of Erasmus of Rotterdam, in 1534 became a preceptor of young courtiers at the court of Mary of Hungary (DE VOCHT 1961, p. 53, 371; CE, vol. 1, p. 35-36)illeLieven Algoet (Livinus Panagathus, Livinus Omnibonus, Levinus Goethals) (†1547), Dutch humanist, poet and cartographer, author of an account of the Augsburg Diet (1530), in 1519 entered the service of Erasmus of Rotterdam, in 1534 became a preceptor of young courtiers at the court of Mary of Hungary (DE VOCHT 1961, p. 53, 371; CE, vol. 1, p. 35-36) est, qui in Imperial Diet (Reichstag) comitiis AugustensibusImperial Diet (Reichstag) anno XXX confecit chartam illam marinam universalem, Reverendissimae Dominationi Vestrae postea traditam. Quae pro opera impensa mihi tunc numerari iussit decem coronatos per Michiel De Vriendt (Michael Vrindius), oeconomus of Ioannes Dantiscus during his stay at the imperial court in the Netherlands; nephew of Arendt Sturm (CIDTC, IDL 690, IDL 708, IDL 760, IDL 763, IDL 1356, IDL 597, IDL 2989, IDT 176)Michaelem GandensemMichiel De Vriendt (Michael Vrindius), oeconomus of Ioannes Dantiscus during his stay at the imperial court in the Netherlands; nephew of Arendt Sturm (CIDTC, IDL 690, IDL 708, IDL 760, IDL 763, IDL 1356, IDL 597, IDL 2989, IDT 176), cubicularium suum, cum obligatione aliorum totidem aliquando numerandorum.

Postmodum, hac relicta, contuli me in Hispanias ibique decedente imperatrice, obtinui officium feraldi sive fecialis. Eo hactenus functus sum et in presentiarum fungor. Et quia id officium usque adeo liberum est, vivo apud dominum Johannes Obernburger (Fabri) (*1500 – †1552), 1522 writer in imperial chancellery, 1524 registrator, 1532 secretaryIoannem ObernburgerJohannes Obernburger (Fabri) (*1500 – †1552), 1522 writer in imperial chancellery, 1524 registrator, 1532 secretary, secretarium in cancellaria caesarea. Illic fungor officio amanuensis vel scribae cancellariae in describendis privilegiis et aliis litteris, et interim subinde opera mea utitur caesar in conscribendis rebus geographicis chartisque, quarum est studiosissimus. Haec est summa rerum mearum.

Si Reverendissima Vestra Dominatio memoriam aliquam sui apud me relinquere dignabitur vel huic meae miseriae ex sua munificentia et liberalitate ob obsequium alias praestitum succurrere, ad magnificum dominum Cornelis De Schepper (Cornelius Scepperus, Cornelis De Dobbele, Cornelius Duplicius) (*1503 – †1555), erudite, diplomat in the Habsburgs' service; close friend of Ioannes Dantiscus; initially in the service of Christian II of Oldenburg, King of Denmark; 1526 secretary and councillor to Emperor Charles V of Habsburg (CE, vol. 3, p. 218-220; DE VOCHT 1961, p. 15-24)Cornelium ScepperumCornelis De Schepper (Cornelius Scepperus, Cornelis De Dobbele, Cornelius Duplicius) (*1503 – †1555), erudite, diplomat in the Habsburgs' service; close friend of Ioannes Dantiscus; initially in the service of Christian II of Oldenburg, King of Denmark; 1526 secretary and councillor to Emperor Charles V of Habsburg (CE, vol. 3, p. 218-220; DE VOCHT 1961, p. 15-24), patronum meum unicum, tuto destinari poterit, quicquid id fuerit, et ego id omni officiorum genere promereri conabor erga Reverendissimam Dominationem Vestram.

Quam felicissime valere opto eidemque me humillime commendo.

Eiusdem Reverendissimae Dominationis Vestrae humillimus inservitor Lieven Algoet (Livinus Panagathus, Livinus Omnibonus, Levinus Goethals) (†1547), Dutch humanist, poet and cartographer, author of an account of the Augsburg Diet (1530), in 1519 entered the service of Erasmus of Rotterdam, in 1534 became a preceptor of young courtiers at the court of Mary of Hungary (DE VOCHT 1961, p. 53, 371; CE, vol. 1, p. 35-36)Levinus PanagathusLieven Algoet (Livinus Panagathus, Livinus Omnibonus, Levinus Goethals) (†1547), Dutch humanist, poet and cartographer, author of an account of the Augsburg Diet (1530), in 1519 entered the service of Erasmus of Rotterdam, in 1534 became a preceptor of young courtiers at the court of Mary of Hungary (DE VOCHT 1961, p. 53, 371; CE, vol. 1, p. 35-36), heraldus caesareus
