Adrianus, abbot of Cistercian monastery in Oliwa to Ioannes DANTISCUS
Oliwa, 1548-05-22

English register:

Abbot Adrianus asks Dantiscus to ordain two of his fellow friars, both named Ioannes, as subdeacons and then deacons, and Valentinus, who will soon take his monastic vows, as an acolyte.

He also asks Dantiscus to undertake (on the basis of the apostolic breve) an appeal to the King and to the Pope [Paul III] in the dispute [over a village] between the monastic house and the Włocławek cathedral chapter.
