Poprzedniego dnia napisał, co adresat powinien był wiedzieć. Obecnie przesyła przez starostę braniewskiego [Georga von Preucken] nowiny, które otrzymał przedwczoraj z dworu królewskiego. Prosi, aby adresat podzielił się nimi z członkami kapituły i z kustoszem [Johannem Tymmermannem]. Spodziewa się, że przyjmą je z zadowoleniem.

Jeśli kustosz bądź adresat będą mieli jakiekolwiek tego rodzaju wieści, Dantyszek chętnie je przyjmie.

Z pewnością do kanoników dotarła już wiadomość o „powrocie do żywych” Jana Benedyktowicza [Solfy].
