Ioannes DANTISCUS to Ermland (Warmia) Chapter
Guttstadt (Dobre Miasto), 1540-04-12

English register: Dantiscus sends the Chapter a copy of the King’s [Sigismund I Jagiellon] letter concerning residence in areas affected by heresy and the possession of Lutheran books. He recommends the implementation of the edict across the Chapter’s estates. Furthermore, he requests to be informed of any instances where the prohibitions are violated.
