Ioannes DANTISCUS to Ermland (Warmia) Chapter
Heilsberg (Lidzbark Warmiński), 1540-11-09

English register: Dantiscus sends the Chapter a copy of the charter for their acceptance, in which he transferred deserted episcopal estates [Schönau (Szynowo)] to his nephew. These estates, since the penultimate war [the Thirteen Years' War], have not generated any income. Now they will provide one mounted soldier as well as tributes in wax and grain. The administrator [Achatius Trenck] will inform the Chapter of the details.
