Reverendisime in Christo pater et domine, domine colendissime.

Cum dominus Fabianus, aulicus reginalis maiestatis, mihi rettulisset servitorem hunc Dominationis Vestrae Reverendissimae in eas rationes esse redactum, quod non nisi simul cum domino Philippo Holknerio, qui tum quoque iamiam discedebat, illum exire hinc oporteret, neque viderem dominum meum reverendissimum esse adeo tum adhuc a cura reipublicae expeditum, quod absolvendo eidem ipsi servitori Dominationis Vestrae Reverendissimae vacare commode potuisset, malui dare illi perferendas ad Dominationem Vestram Reverendissimam litteras et mandata regia, quorum exempla huc miserat, reliquam vero expeditionis partem Dominatio Vestra Reverendissima brevi accipiet. Rerum novarum nihil est hic praeter id, quod Posonii tractatur de pace stabilienda inter reges Hungariae, feruntur autem esse duodecim milia Thurcorum equitum et peditum Budae et circumcirca in eum eventum, ut si pax ipsa stabiliri non posset, invadant Moraviam, quae regio, ut non ignorat Dominatio Vestra Reverendissima, est quidem populosissima, sed quae supina et oscitans est ad tractandas res bellicas. Cras efferetur hinc funus domini olim castellani Cracoviensis cum apparatu regifico. Dominus praepositus Varmiensis propendere videtur versus Varmiam, addixit se tamen ante aliquot dies servitio principis, ut saltem hoc genere lenocinii spei suae assequendi episcopatus, iam olim conceptae, subveniat, qui, ut video, aegre ab aula divellitur, quam tamen relinquere cogitur propter tenues suas facultates. Me gratiae Dominationis Vestrae Reverendissimae ex animo commendo valereque illam sanam ac felicem in multos annos vehementer desidero.
