Council of Royal Prussia to Jan CHOJEŃSKIGraudenz (Grudziądz) 1537-10-04
English register: The Prussian Council asks Chojeński to read to the king the enclosed letter (IDT 162) on the summons to secret talks received by Gdańsk castellan Achatius Cema from the Brandenburg elector (Joachim II Hohenzollern). The Council asks Chojeński to convince the king to treat the matter seriously, as it seems to concern Prussia and himself, and to persuade the king to instruct Achatius Cema as to how he should conduct the talks.
