[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to [Johann TYMMERMANN]
Löbau (Lubawa), 1537-10-19

English register: Dantiscus confirms that he has received from the (Warmia) Chapter, through Iacobus (Schroter), a box containing 1968 grzywnas. He calculates that upon receiving 125 Hungarian florins from Giese, he will have the full amount of 1000 florins needed to obtain the papal provision.

Venerabilis Domine, Frater et Amice carissime. Salutem et omnem felicitatem.

Accepi heri ab hoc domino Iacobo arculam, cui in erant tres sacci consignati , continentes, ut schedae applicatae significant, mille noningentas et sexaginta octo marcas. Percepturus ad eam summam a reverendissimo domino electo centum viginti quinque aureos Hungaros, quibus numerus mille aureorum pro confirmatione a Sede Apostolica obtinenda in quemlibet aureum XLV grossos communes computando erit pe[r]fectus, eam pecuniam, ad fidem qua<e> mihi missa est, sic consignatam reliqui et de ea, in numero ut praemittitur, venerabile capitulum et Dominationem Vestram quietos et li[ber]os dico his litteris, eandemque Dominationem Vestram bene valere cupio.
