Letter #2379
[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to [Iustus Lodvicus DECIUS (DECJUSZ, DIETZ)]Heilsberg (Lidzbark), 1541-01-10
English register:
Dantiscus has received a letter from Decius along with a small clock. He is glad that the addressee, his wife and children arrived safely in Cracow (Kraków) after leaving [Heilsberg (Lidzbark)], and have now returned home from Silesia. He thanks him for the news sent. At present, there is no matter worthy of mention nor any objects that might give his addressee pleasure. He sends greetings to the entire family, especially to the “clever little girl bishop” (optimae indolis Episcopa) [Decius’ young daughter].
