Letter #6295

[Ioannes DANTISCUS] to [Stephanus TOBIE?]
Heilsberg (Lidzbark Warmiński), 1542-03-30

English register: Ioannes Dantiscus, through Severinus, servant of the Bishop of Kulm [Tiedemann Giese], sends the friars 5 thalers (Ioachimici Vallenses) as late alms for Lent. If they do not buy fish with the money, they may also buy beef. He asks the addressee and his fellow friars to pray for him and his near and dear; he sends special greetings to Friar Petrus.

Religiose etc.

Bene vale.

Ex Heilsberg, XXX Martii 1542.
