Caesaris et Galli fidei servantia monstrat,
Quam verus Christi cultor uterque fuit.
Ille, quod ex animo generoso detulit hosti,
Perdere quem potuit, iussit abire tamen.

Alter item noscens bona, quae percepit ab hoste,
Perdere quem potuit, iussit honore coli.
Principibus quondam non mens ea forte fuisset
Tempore, quo vanos excoluere deos,

Cultrix, heroum pectora firma facit.
Utile qui quavis causa praeponit honesto,

Iustitiam prudens amat, odit stultus, et ergo
